About CTM Ltd.
C Transport Maritime Ltd (“CTM Ltd.”) is a Bermuda-domiciled company established in 2014 to act as a trading vehicle for short and long-term chartering in and out of dry bulk vessels. During the period 2014 –2020, the company mainly took in short-term charters, but from 2020, the company saw an opportunity to take in vessels on longer-term charters. Since then, the company has built up a long-term charter-in fleet of top-of-the-line, modern vessels that are predominantly Japanese-built, with the majority having purchase options.
CTM Ltd. It is a privately owned shipping company with all strategic decisions made by our board, which is made up of shareholder representatives, independent board members and executives from our manager, Monaco-based C Transport Maritime SAM (“CTM SAM”).
In early 2026, a major capital raise boosted CTM Ltd.’s investment capacity, following which Tokyo Century Corporation and the Steensland family became shareholders.
Our Fleet
CTM Ltd. has a fleet of modern dry bulk vessels built by tier 1 shipyards. Majority of them are long-term charters from Japanese Owners with options to extend the charters and/or purchase options.
The vessels are all built at reputable Japanese yards, such as Imabari, JMU, Namura Tsuneishi, Sanoyas and Shin Kasado Dockyard, or Japanese-affiliated shipyards.
Expert Management by
C Transport Maritime SAM is the exclusive manager of our fleet, performing all operations, including commercial, technical, and administrative management. This partnership with CTM grants us access to Japanese owners and trading houses from where most of our fleet has been sourced. We have also been fortunate, via this partnership, to have also had access to financing from Japanese banks enabling us to strategically grow our fleet.
